Born out of a partnership with a swiss metal company specialized in the steel industry, Psili is a recycled aluminum coffee table. Several techniques specific and adapted to this kind of heavy industry – such as plasma cutting or aluminum-bending were used to stiffen its structure. Some notches on the legs allow to slide the tray before assembling the whole object with pop rivets in a few seconds. Designed for a group exhibition, the coffee table was powdercoated according to a defined color code.
