Residential

Located in a quiet courtyard in the very heart of Saint-Germain-des-Prés (Paris, France), this apartment has been completely reimagined as a space full of character - intimate, singular, and timeless. The project capture the essence of Parisian elegance while bringing in a more contemporary spirit, creating a gentle conversation between past and present. Every room reflects a careful attention to proportions, materials, and artworks, coming together in a harmonious composition.

Bathed in sunlight, the living room reveals a quiet dialogue between history and modernity. Exposed beams, a marble fireplace, and chevron parquet set a timeless stage, but it’s the bold silhouettes and soulful vintage finds that bring the room to life. Art isn’t just decoration here; it guides the eye and spirit, from the lyrical lines of Matisse to the quiet strength of Maillol.

The bedroom offers a softer rhythm. wrapped in warm fabrics, it invites retreat and feels like a gentle pause — a place to rest and slow down in the city.

The bed, tucked into a niche, becomes a cocoon. Sheltered by wood-toned furniture and surrounded by poetic fragments that echo dreams more than design. Just beyond, the study, wrapped in walnut, feels almost nautical, like the cabin of a ship, with curved lines and a view that opens onto a peaceful, leafy courtyard.

In the bathroom, contrast tells the story : graphic mosaic meets victorian ceramic tiles and patinated brass, white cream Corian catches the overhead light. The dining room shifts the mood again - vibrant and sunlit, it plays with rhythm and color, as if Mondrian had composed its layout and Poliakoff had chosen the palette. In the kitchen, the mineral rigor of cabochon flooring and natural stone contrasts harmoniously with the warmth of walnut woodwork, creating a space where classic composition meets material balance - with a subtle 60s twist expressed through color accents and carefully chosen accessories

Throughout the home, nothing is left to chance - every texture, every object, every finish speaks of care. Referencing design icons and time-worn treasures, the space becomes more than just a home: it’s a refined refuge, where simple beauty and function exist in thoughtful, deliberate harmony.
